SOUND RECORDINGS

For sound editing we use a program called Adobe Audition. As you can see within the screenshots, we can edit the sound recording on a wave form or a mixtape format on editing mode. This is a simple way to edit our audio recordings for projects. Audition is a comprehensive toolset that includes multitrack, waveform and spectral display for creating, mixing, editing and restoring audio content. This powerful audio workstation is designed to accelerate video production workflows and audio finishing - and deliver a polished mix with pristine sound. The pictures above are examples on what editing on Adobe Audition looks like.

Edited Interview Recording

In today's session, we recorded our interviews on the Hn1 sound recorder and used a lavier microphone. The pre-production for the interview task was to write out a small script of the interviews or small guides on what to say. After exporting the file onto my mac, I opened Adobe audition and edited the sound recording. I edited the sound recording the cancel out any background noise, breathing and hesitations to give the best professional outcome.

Outside College Audio

Stairwell Audio

In today's lesson we had a task to go round the college and pick rooms or places within the college to record ourselves speaking into the H1N Sound recorder. I believe this was to do with reverberant of each different room. We had to take pictures of the areas we chose for evidence.
