REFELECTIVE WRITING

At the beginning of my project I started off with completing my research page. On my research page it includes different types of research such as; primary, secondary, quantitate & qualitative research. Also, I wrote about different types of marketing research and what they're used for.

Then, we had a task to get into groups and take pictures of each other representing different camera angles/shots. After we had taken the shots we uploaded them onto my Webnode and then talk about what they are used for and what their uses are.

Following on, we got into groups again for a sound task, we went into the sound studio to record interviews on the sound recorder. First of all, we planned a rough script on what questions we are going to be asking one another. After recording the interviews we uploaded the files on to our computers then edited them on Adobe Audition to get a professional outcome. On my sound page I wrote about; what sound is, what reverb is, the difference between reverb and echo, different sound equipment and what they're used for and I have placed all my sound recordings on a separate sound recordings page.

We learned about lighting and three point lighting. We also got to setup three point lighting and take photos with and without the three point lighting to see the difference and benefits of three point lighting.

Further on, we started our pre-production. Having pre-production is very useful for specifically planning how we are going to make our project in specific detail. It also helps us think about; location, equipment, health & safety and if we need other participants to sign a permission form to be in the project.

Today, I completed my production schedule. This will help me plan how to do my project dates and where. I believe doing pre-production is very important, this is because; It helps plan out the project you're doing, better way of successfully getting an amazing outcome.

I have recently been going through my blog and filling in any areas I haven't done yet. Also i did start editing

HOW I GOT MY FINAL OUTCOME

19/10/21. Today I got Charlie to sign permission to film form. I am getting prepared to film my how to video. Then I borrowed a camera and tripod to record Charlie whilst doing certain angles.

21/10/21. Today I recorded Charlie in the media studio. 

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS PROJECT

I believe that I have done well in project 1. This is because, I have planned on my project in written detail. My storyboard gives me a visual idea how I am going to do my camera angle how to video.

On the other hand, I strongly feel like I could've tried harder in some tasks because I know i have more potential. Next time, I am going to put more effort into my task work and pre-production. Also, in the future, I am going to make sure i'm going to write what I have done in more detail.

I have enjoyed this project as I had some independence on what I chose to do for my How to video.
